CheckMate is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. These Subscription Terms explain how billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds work.
Plans & pricing
- Monthly: $14.99 USD per month
- Yearly: $119 USD per year (saves about 34% vs. monthly)
Local taxes may apply. Prices in regions outside the U.S. may differ based on App Store / Google Play conversion.
7-day free trial
New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins automatically and the corresponding charge is applied by the App Store or Google Play.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) for the same plan and price, until canceled. You authorize the App Store or Google Play to charge your stored payment method at each renewal.
How to cancel
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → CheckMate → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → CheckMate → Cancel.
To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. After cancellation, you'll keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform you purchased through and are not handled by CheckMate directly. To request a refund, use the App Store's "Report a Problem" page or Google Play's refund flow.
Price changes
If we change subscription pricing, we'll notify you in-app before the change takes effect, and you'll have the opportunity to cancel before being charged at the new price.
What you get
A CheckMate subscription unlocks the full app experience: daily check-ins, gentle reminders, mood tracking and insights, family dashboard, unlimited care-circle members, voice and accessibility features, and priority alert handling. There are no additional paywalls within the app.
